Financial Health Assistant Job Description

**The Financial Health Assistant position is not a remote position.**

Reports To

The Financial Health Assistant will report to a Financial Health Manager within the company or, in any initial or temporary absence of that role, a Vice President or President of Moneycopilot, LLC.

Job Overview

As a Financial Health Assistant, you will play a supporting role for Financial Health Specialists and the local Financial Health Managers who are helping customers with their savings and budgeting goals through a standardized financial health program as defined by Moneycopilot, LLC. You will help Financial Health Specialists with customer planning, tracking, and any other activities deemed necessary to help customers achieve the goals they set forth in their financial health plans. You will also have administrative duties that include data entry, company and customer payment processing, document drafting and processing, customer records maintenance, and appointment scheduling in support of the business as a whole.

Responsibilities and Duties

The responsibilities and duties of this job include, but are not limited to the following.

    -   Assist Financial Health Specialists with daily activities, including maintaining calendars, preparing correspondence, and providing customer service.

    -   Facilitate and resolve client service requests.

    -   Collaborate with broader Moneycopilot team on efforts around customer engagement and retention. Participate in and support creation of online, print, and marketing content including for social media platforms.

    -   Interact with clients in person and over the phone.

    -   Participate in community functions and other company sponsored events in a supporting capacity.

    -   Prepare and review new account paperwork.

    -   Document customer calls/sessions and results and makes reports to management as required.

    -   Document financial transactions by entering account information. Maintain records of financial transactions by establishing accounts; posting transactions; ensure legal requirements compliance.

    -   Summarize customer financial status and project financial needs by collecting information; preparing balance sheets, profit and loss statements, and other reports.

    -   Maintain financial security by following internal controls.

    -   Maintain customer confidence and protect operations by keeping financial information confidential.

    -   Prepare financial and operational procedure documentation. Generate and process paper and electronic documents.

    -   Maintain admin functions of the office such as office supplies and mail.

    -   Work independently, effectively, and efficiently.

    -   Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

Qualifications that are necessary for someone to fill this position:

    -   A genuine interest in personal finance.

    -   Possesses a welcoming demeanor and has a natural aptitude for customer service

    -   Associate's degree in a accounting, business, economic, or finance related field of study or equivalent work experience.

    -   Great verbal and written communication skills.

    -   Attention to Detail.

    -   Deadline-Oriented.

    -   Data Entry and Time Management.

    -   Solid knowledge in Microsoft Office (particularly Excel), Google applications, Microsoft Teams, & Zoom videoconferencing.

    -   Adaptable and able to work collaboratively.

    -   Prior experience in the finance industry is helpful but not required.

Commitment / Compensation

The following compensation and time commitments apply.

    -   Must be open to a flexible schedule Monday-Friday or Tuesday-Saturday. Some of our events take place in the evenings, and we expect our Financial Health Assistants to participate when available.

    -   This is a part-time position at $10 per hour for up to 25 hours per week.

    -   This position qualifies for bonus opportunities that can equal up to 7% of pay.
